Baby, Its cold outside. Fortunately for those who are going away to some place tropical, it won’t be for long. Now, I know how stressful it can be to pack a limited amount of clothing for your trip, luckily for you, you have me. For starters, buy yourself a durable duffle bag, one you can rely on, like this Marc Jacobs one. Pack a few bathing suits, only the short-short ones (duh), both solid colored and floral printed. Designers I prefer: Onia, Paul Smith, Vilebrequin and Europann. Tip: pair your floral shorts with a plain solid color v-neck tee, by James Perse or Topman, or a solid linen button down shirt. That way the attention will be on your shorts and more importantly your outfit won’t clash. However, you can spice things up with a solid color bathing suit. For example, a ‘Free Hugs’ tee. WARNING: Cougars may take advantage of you.
A few accessories that will complete your outfit, whether it be a day on the beach or a night at a local bar. Colored rope bracelets, similar to our childhood faviorate landayard bracelets, by Miansai or a sleek colored watch will do the trick and more importantly it will help establish that casual feel one is supposed to feel while on vacation. Some comfortable footwear, a pair of navy TOMS or, what I strongly suggest is, a pair of Onia beach shoes. They are the perfect hybrid, both shoe and flip flop. Plus, grab the latest GQ and Esquire magazines while you are at the airport. They are both great fashion reads and will entertain you while you’re relaxing on the beach sippin’ on your mojito.
.….And for those who are thinking why is there a surfboard lying in the corner? Regretfully, I don’t surf, although I wish I did.
