I love a good pair of clip-on sunglasses. When you’re a guy it’s hard to pull of a funky pair of shades. You can’t throw on just any pair. So when I came across a pair that are different and creative (and at the same time masculine) like these super cool clip-ons by John Varvatos I knew I had to have them. I paired them with my Kaboom sweater, a pair of distressed black denim and white kicks. You can grab a pair of clip-ons yourselves, right here.

Sweater- Missoni | T-shirt— A|X | Jeans- Paige | Boots- Brooklyn Boot Co.

The fall season has always been my favorite time of year. I can’t get enough of sweater weather, leather jackets and combat boots. Every dude needs the perfect fall essentials for the season. Pictured above are my current favorites of the season. I’ve never been the cardigan type, ever, but when it’s a chunky oversized knitted zig-zag patterned edition, like this one from Missoni, I couldn’t resist. I paired my casual seasonal look with a pair of denim from Paige and the perfect combat boots from Brooklyn Boot Company. I like these a whole lot. They’re not too clunky and oversized so I don’t look like a clown (well, not totally). Also, the length ends right by the ankle, exactly how I l like. Oh, and they’re going to age perfectly (remember combat boots are like wine, they only get better with age).

Jacket, Knit- Brett Johnson | Jeans- Paige | Shoes- Adidas | Shades- Garrett Leight

There’s only two seasons in NYC. Winter and Summer. Yup, it’s true leather weather is already over (sadly, the winter starts earlier than expected and ends way later than scheduled). So, It’s time to whip out them winter coats because baby, it’s getting cold outside. This past weekend I visited Coney Island with my sister and a friend that was visiting, and since we were way close to the beach I knew I had to bundle up. I took my new brown suede shearling jacket from Brett Johnson for a spin, and oh my, I can’t tell you how warm, good and luxe I felt. Every guy should own an investment piece (and I don’’t mean a car or a condo in manhattan). I’m referring to a an awesome outerwear piece that you can keep (and wear) for eternity and pass it on from generation to generation. Mentally, I’m not prepared for the cold season or an inch of snow any time soon. This jacket is making me feel a bit better about it, and look (somewhat) forward to the cold temperatures. And yes, after I galavanted and photographed this look, I hopped on the Thunderbolt (the ride behind me,) and it was epic.
