The New York chill has made me miss short-sleeve shirt and swim season (a whole lot). So, when I made it to Miami you know I was super pumped to show some skin. Here are some of my looks that I wore from my recent trip. A few highlights included attending the Veuve Cliquot #VCCarnaval, strolling around the art deco area and living my best life over at the EAST Miami hotel.

Brrrrr. New York City, you’re getting cold on me. These oversize sweaters and puffer jackets got me reminiscing about my recent trip to sunny Miami. I love that Miami is just a quick 3 hour trip from NYC, so if it ever gets too cold you know exactly where you to find me. For this trip I packed a few swim trunks, tank tops and some sunnies including my John Varvatos classic round shades. Now, what’s the next tropical sunny destination?

Last weekend I was invited to join a few of my fellow blogger mates in sunny Miami for Art Basel (Yup, the same trip I went on exactly a year ago). This time I wanted to share with you guys and highlight the things you can do during Basel (minus the after parties and the actual Art Basel Show). For example.. renting a three floor luxury yacht with your pals (thanks Persol), flying a drone in the middle of the ocean and sharing a few laughs, drinks and making unforgettable memories. For this trip I wore a pair of Persol’s folding  Cellor shades (a folding version of the iconic Cellor model which was created in the 1950s, yup probably before your parents’ time). They were the perfect classic touch to my traditional clean and minimal yacht look. For more travels, join the adventure by following me on IG + Snap Chat= MotiAnkari.
