After fashion week comes Market week, like Project, Capsule and Liberty Fairs located in the Javitz Center in NYC. Market week is essentially  where buyers of some of the biggest and major retailers from all over the world meet and shop brands’ new SS’18 collections. This season NYFW:Mens did a small pop-up where they showcased a few presentations featuring brands like Osklen, Band of Outsiders and more. Additionally, Frenzy partnered with Capsule + Liberty Fairs to drop an exclusive item from the handful of designers that were showing during these days via their App, redefining the see now, buy now model.

What is Frenzy you might ask?
Powered by Shopify, Frenzy is a mobile flash sales app and the first marketplace app of its kind. For the shopper AKA YOU, Frenzy puts the hype of the best and most exciting product releases and experiences right in their hands– Think Kanye’s Yeezy kicks that are hard to get a hold of.

Protect Your Phone with Verizon

Being a blogger, it is essential to have a working phone, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll need a protection plan in case of any mishaps or drops. And trust me that day will come. Living in a fast-paced city like New York, and stressing out over the smallest things can be, well, stressful. Here’s one less thing you shouldn’t worry about – your phone.

I always have my phone in my hand, which is a really bad habit, especially in NYC. The likelihood of bumping into someone and then dropping your phone, which will then lead to a cracked phone, is quite high.

I remember the first time I dropped my phone. It wasn’t my fault, actually. I hadn’t seen my sister in about month and we were meeting up for the holiday, I forget which one, but some Jewish holiday. Naturally when she saw me she jumped on me and hugged me, really hard too. At that point I was holding my phone, and her neediness caused me to drop my phone. A huge cracked-sound hit the floor. I didn’t even need to pick up the phone to know it was shattered. I felt bad because I knew she came from a good place and it was just a simple accident.

At the time, I didn’t have an insurance or protection plan to save my phone. Instead I got my iPhone fixed from a second-hand store which did an awful job, leading me to need to purchase a brand new phone. A cracked screen is one trend you don’t want to wear.

The benefit of insuring your phone is for situations like these. Verizon has a Total Mobile Protection plan which will ship you a replacement phone if it breaks or gets lost or stolen as soon as the very next day. How convenient is that? It will also save you money on cracked screen repairs (with just a $49 deductible), which is helpful when you drop your phone frequently. Plus, in many areas, a technician can come directly to you on the same day, wherever you are, to fix your broken screen. The plan also comes with unrestricted access to Tech Coach, a.ka. unlimited expert support for almost ANY question you might have about your phone.

You can enroll into the plan and start to protect your phone through July 14, 2017 — $11 a month will cover your smartphone in the case of accidents like mine!

The 35th Annual America’s Cup Presented by Louis Vuitton

Back in Bermuda, and yes, many assume I live here now , and I’m not mad about it. This time I’m visiting the beautiful island for the 35th Annual America’s Cup presented by Louis Vuitton.

This is my second time at the America’s cup, third time in Bermuda (this year, I’m basically Bermudian.) We got to watch the semi-finals boat-side where New Zealand soared, and eventually won the title this past weekend. For the occasion I wore some of my favorite pieces from the Louis Vuitton’s America’s Cup collection.

The first night we arrived we had an opening dinner at the government house where we wined and dined along side the CEO of LV, Michael Burke, and some bermudian’s  politicians.

I called the Princess Hamilton my home for the weekend, one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at, which also has a really good restaurant called Marcus.

In between the races we hit the beautiful beaches, particularly The Hamilton’s beach which is a short 10 minute ride from the hotel.
